Our Story
North Central Farm Trees opened for business on this current site in 1988. Originally concentrating on tubed farm trees, we soon realized that there was lots of interest in all sorts of plants. Now we grow and stock a wide range of green life, from seedlings, roses, natives, evergreen trees and shrubs, fruit trees and deciduous trees. We also sell terracotta and glazed pots.
Andrew Gregory Nurseryman and Proprietor
Andrew is involved with all aspects of the Nursery. He has a deep understanding of growing, designing and appropriate placement of plants. From his geologist father and reading, he has gained a good understanding of soil types and regional geography.
His emphasis has always been on plants and the environment they can create. The Nursery is a world without registered chemicals and organic principals are followed. Resultingly the nursery teems with life including frogs, lizards, native birds and predatory insects.
